General overview
Our happy place on the Tuscany coast is a second home which we have split into 2 independent apartments to allow max flexibility for family and friends when they visit.
It is located just a few steps from the centre of a small town south of Livorno/Leghorn, in a quiet spot, on the top of a small hill 3 minutes walkin from the pedestrian centre. It is also just 10 minutes walking from the train station and bus terminal, fro which any cities in Tuscany can be reached for day trips. Super bike friendly area, and we have a garage to store them. The board walk of Marina di Cecina with its numerous beaches is only 20 minutes walking or 15 minutes cycling away.
Supermarkets, pizza places, restaurants, local weekly market, pretty much everything is within walking distance to enjoy a truly Tuscany laid back dolce vita!
The space
Our guest apartment on the 1st floor consists of a large bedroom, a big bathroom with double sink and XL shower, a kitchen/dining area with a small couch and a murphy bed for an extra guest and a balcony. A/C and ceiling fans are provided and quite handy in the hotter period. The access via a shared balcony is also shaded via an electric awning.
Downstars we have a large shaded terrace with a dining table, a BBQ and a sink, together with an outdoor shower, very convenient when coming back fro.pm the beach ;)
The terrace is a great place to relax and enjoy freshly grilled food or great meals or pizza delivered by the restaurant just 100 meters away ;)

Neighbourhood
Urban neighborhood of 20,000 residents south of Livorno with excellent infrastructure both via motorway to Livorno/Genoa, the via Aurelia to Rome, and public transport via train and busses.
Public transport is cheap and convenient, with a free shuttle bus to go to the beach in the summer period.
Very green area with maritime pines and playgrounds all around town. Florence is 2 hours away by train, Rome is 3 hours.

By air: Pisa intl airport, then train to Cecina, around 1 hour
By train: 10 minutes walking from Cecina train station
By car: motorway or Via Aurelia

Getting around
Very bike and pedestrian friendly place, parking not allowed on our street but 200 mts away.
We are happy to offer our 3 bikes for you to explore the area and you can use our small garage to park yours
