General Overview

We’re a fun, adventurous family of five with a passion for exploring the world. These days, we don’t always travel together—as our teenagers are beginning to plan trips of their own! Our home is a spacious 5,000 sq ft ranch-style house with a large yard, located in a quiet residential neighborhood just 6 miles from downtown Denver and 3 miles from Cherry Creek. We have two friendly dogs who stay with a sitter while we’re away. Denver is a fantastic year-round destination and ranks among the sunniest cities in the U.S., with around 300 sunny days each year. Sitting a mile high (1,600 m) above sea level, the city enjoys mild winters—snow rarely lasts more than a day or two. You can hike, play golf, and even tennis all year round. Denver also offers a vibrant food scene, excellent local breweries, and easy access to the natural beauty Colorado is known for, including world-class skiing, snowboarding, hiking, rafting, kayaking, and rock climbing.

The Space

Our home is a beautifully renovated 50-year-old ranch, fully updated in 2014. It features a bright and spacious open-concept living area with soaring ceilings and ample seating—perfect for relaxing or entertaining. The large, modern kitchen includes counter seating and is connected to a generous dining room and a fully equipped butler’s pantry. The main floor offers three bedrooms and three bathrooms, while the finished basement includes two additional bedrooms, a bathroom, a cozy living area, pool/billiard table, ping pong table, and a dedicated movie/game room. Hardwood floors run throughout the main level, adding warmth and character. Outside, you'll find a lush half-acre yard with mature trees, a trampoline, and a treehouse for kids. A large, covered patio (500 sq ft) features an outdoor dining table, comfortable seating, and a bar counter that connects to the kitchen—ideal for entertaining and seamless indoor-outdoor living. There’s plenty of parking available, and we also provide bicycles for guests to enjoy during their stay.

Neighbourhood

Nice residential neighborhood with mature trees and wide streets. Grocery stores and shopping just a 3 min drive away. Very nice helpful neighbors.

Getting to my home

Denver International Airport is 30 minutes drive. There's also a train that will take you closer, however a car is always needed in Colorado.

Getting Around

Public transportation is just a few blocks away, with bus routes providing easy access to both Denver International Airport and downtown Denver. However, if you're hoping to explore the stunning Rocky Mountains and the rest of Colorado, renting a car is your best option. The state’s top ski resorts are about 1.5 to 2 hours away by car, and within an hour, you’ll find some of the best hiking trails Colorado has to offer.

We’re a fun-loving family of five—two adults, two teenagers, and our adult son. I work as a real estate agent, and my husband is a pilot for a major airline. As a family, we love traveling and try to explore new destinations and cultures several times a year. Thanks to my husband’s job, we travel standby, which gives us the flexibility to be spontaneous with both dates and destinations. We’re open to last-minute exchanges and opportunities almost anywhere in the world. When we’re not traveling, we’re happy to host up to 2–3 guests in our spacious and welcoming home.
