General overview
Traditional cottage front garden with large modern back garden. Modern open living area with two good size comfortable bedrooms.
The space
Our home is modern, light and airy and has a great entertaining outside area. The garden is a sun trap and has an area for dining and an area for relaxing.
The kitchen has all mod cons and a dining table for up to 6 people which looks out onto the garden. It's lovely to open up the bi-fold doors on a sunny day or evening to enjoy the inside/out living our home offers.
We have two double bedrooms and one bathroom on the second level of the house. Both bedrooms are modern and clutter-free.
Guest access
Two floors, access is on the ground floor
Notes
We share our drive with the neighbours but they don't use it. There is also parking on the road. We are lucky to have lots of lovely neighbors.

Neighbourhood
Our house is located in Shoreham by Sea, a pretty coastal town with direct links to the South Downs. It has an historic fort, a quiet shingle beach and a town with many cafes, pubs and restaurants. Due to its unusual vegetated habitat, Shoreham Beach has been designated a Local Nature Reserve. The River Adur and its wonderful community of houseboats are a joy to meander alongside. There are direct trains into London which take around an hour and twenty minutes. The vibrant city of Brighton is just 20 minutes by car from our home and a must-visit if you want to experience a blend of modern culture, and exotic architecture in one seaside resort.
Other areas of interest are Chichester, Bognor Regis, Eastbourne, Worthing and Arundel. All are easily accessed by car, bus or train.

We are a family of three who love to travel and have new experiences. We won't always travel with our daughter Tilly who is 19 years old and away at University. Paul and I run a wedding entertainment company and can be quite flexible on dates and happy to look at last-minute swaps.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
