Neighbourhood

The district is adjacent to the island of Strasbourg, in three minutes on foot you will be at the cathedral, the Rohan palace, and the Batorama pier. On Wednesday morning and Saturday morning there are markets near us where you can buy local products, and where you can hear, if you listen carefully, a few words of Alsatian ;)

Nearest airport

Strasbourg-Entzheim, 10 minutes by train from the station. The airports of Baden-baden, Basel and even Stuttgart are also accessible in at least an hour by train or bus.

Getting around

The city center can be done on foot, by bike, or by tram, it is almost entirely pedestrian. If you want to visit the region, the rail network is ideal, preferable to the bus network. The regional train network is well developed for visiting the tourist towns of Alsace. We can provide our two bikes and associated helmets. There are many cycle paths in Strasbourg and Alsace, it is very practical for visiting the city and walking in the countryside. It is possible to take bicycles on TER (regional trains, not TGV) outside peak hours.
