Neighbourhood

The Indische buurt in Amsterdam east is the new upcoming neighbourhood in Amsterdam. 2 lovely parks and a fresh food market, cafes, bars and restaurants, and even a cinema at walking distance. Great atmosphere and great mix of people; you don't have to leave the neighbourhood as you have everything you need right here! :) By bike it is 15 min to the city centre, 15-20 min to the major museums. Well connected by tram and train.

Nearest airport

From Schiphol airport you take a train to Amsterdam Centraal, where you take the 5 min train further to Amsterdam Muiderpoort. Or you take a direct train to Amsterdam Muiderpoort from Schiphol airport (every hour)

Getting Around

See my earlier description. Trams and trains nearby, 10-15 min bike ride to the city centre, and interesting shops, museums and restaurants at walking distance. You can borrow my bike while you are here to get around.

Hi! I am Lenneke (42), living and working in Amsterdam with my little doggie Tina. For my work as a hairstylist I traveled back and forth to Berlin to work at a hairsalon there.
