Neighbourhood

The Indische buurt is the new upcoming neighbourhood in Amsterdam. 2 lovely parks and a fresh food market at walking distance, cafes, bars and restaurants nearby on Javastraat and further. Great atmosphere and mix of people; you don't have to leave the neighbourhood as you have everything you need right there! :) By bike it is 10 min to the city centre, 15-20 min to the major museums. Well connected by tram and train.

Nearest airport

From Schiphol airport you take a train to Amsterdam Centraal, where you take the 5 min train further to Amsterdam Muiderpoort. Or you take a direct train to Amsterdam Muiderpoort from Schiphol airport (every hour)

Getting around

See my earlier description. Trams and trains nearby, 10-15 min bike ride to the city centre, and interesting shops, museums and restaurants at walking distance.
