General Overview

Wonderful large family home in south Lake District, UK. We love our house, with its spacious kitchen and living areas, beautiful garden overlooking a large field and distant mountains. We can walk into town easily or take a short drive to the base of the lake district. The Lake District is a stunning part of England very popular with tourists. Hikers will love it here. The northern lakes have the mountains and more dramatic views, but the furness peninsula, where we are located, tends to be less touristy and still has incredible scenery as well as charming towns. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the base of the lakes. 10 minutes away you will find beautiful beaches such as Roanhead and Bardsea. A car is a good idea in this area, but there are bus tours that explore the lakes as well. The Space

Our home has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms accessible to guests. A large lounge, dining room, Conservatory and large garden area. We have just moved in last June and are still in the process of decorating. It’s a comfortable family home, with very comfortable beds, modern bathrooms and kitchen.
