Neighbourhood

The apartment is located in the Buda side of the city, which is the greener part with hills, yet really close to the city center & sights (Deák square, Jewish district, Chain bridge, Castle district etc in 15-20 min). The appartment is in the centre of the upcoming, bohemian Bartók district full of lovely cafes, bars, restaurants and galleries. A huge green park with a lake is just opposite the house and there are many must-visit locations (e.g. Gellért Spa, Gellért hill, Great Market) are close by. Excellent public transportation, buses, metro line, trams are available in 3-4 min (also during the night)

Getting Around

The apartment is indeed located in a very convenient place. With great public transportation you can reach everything in ~15-25 min, in most of the cases you dont need to change. If you are open for it, my personal recommendation would be to rent a bike / use ours or grab a public bike (fleet of ~2500 bikes, covering most important parts of Budapest), 2 stations are ~200 meter from the apartment.
