General Overview

Our beach town of 70,000 people has been designated an All-American City 3 times. There's something for everyone in Delray Beach, Florida! * beach * art galleries * museums * restaurants * shopping * golf * tennis * pickleball * biking * stand-up paddle boarding * mini-golf * pinball * movie theater * fish manicure * green market * yoga All are within walking distance of our home. For adventures outside of Delray, we are less than 30 minutes to West Palm Beach, about 45 minutes to Fort Lauderdale, 1 - 1.5 hours to Miami, 3 hours from Orlando / Disney or the Everglades and 4 hours to Key West, depending on exact location and traffic. Our home is an open-concept home only 2 blocks to Atlantic Avenue's shops, restaurants, and bars, and a short walk (or Free e-golf cart ride) to our blue-flag designated beach. The Space

It's an old Florida home that been turned into an open-concept kitchen-living dining area. The kitchen has a stainless steel stove/oven, fridge, microwave and dishwasher -- all new in 2020 when the home was redesigned and renovated. There is an island with bar stools for 3, and a dining table with seating for 4 (and space for more). The two larger bedrooms each have a comfortable queen bed, ensuite bathroom with shower, and walk-in closet. The main bedroom has French doors that lead out to a private patio - for grilling, dining, or lounging in the hammock. The second main also has a desk and a large monitor. The 3rd bedroom has a twin bed and is also used for office space. The 3rd bathroom has a tub and is located right next to the 3rd bedroom. If your traveling group only requires the two main bedrooms, we usually like to hide our extra stuff and lock the 3rd bedroom / office. We will discuss with you beforehand. In addition to the back patio, there is also a small covered front porch and small patio with a dining table for 4 in the front. Driveway parking for 2 cars.

Guest Access

Keypad entry. Single-story home, with a step up to the porch, and a slightly elevated threshhold. 1 or 2 steps down from side of back entry doors.

Neighbourhood

We are in downtown Delray Beach, two blocks from Atlantic Avenue ("the Ave") with shops, restaurants, bars, art galleries, music venues, museums... We are also walking distance to Delray's main public beach, which was recently designated a blue flag beach. Our residential neighborhood, Osceola Park, is artsy and friendly, and hosts annual neighborhood gathersing, such as the Mango Fest (the area used to be a Mango Grove) and Art in the Alley (where we paint panels that are hung on the fences to beautify our alleys.
