General overview
We live in the upstairs unit in a home in Hauula, Hawaii. Our place is a 3 bed 2 bath with a spacious living room, kitchen and a private back lanai.
We love the Hawaiian fresh air breeze that comes through our windows, along with the warm sunlight that fills the rooms. Watch bananas, mangoes, lilikoi (passion fruit), avocados, limes, starfruit, and tapioca grow in our backyard.
The space
Our master bedroom has a king size bed with a walk in closet and master bathroom tub and shower. The backdoor leads to a private patio that has built in screens to keep insects out. This is normally where our kids like to play while getting some fresh air.
Bedroom 2 has a king size Murphy bed that can be put up and used as a baby room instead (we have a playpen crib). There is also a large closet that we empty for your use.
Our third bedroom has a toddler bed and dresser in the room with a back door that also opens to the lanai. We are currently installing a twin bed (pictures coming soon).
We also have a queen air mattress that can be used in the living room.
There is a nice breeze that comes through the front windows and flows all the way through the master bedroom back door. There are ceiling fans in every room to help keep the place cool. Thanks to these, we don't need to install air conditioning and get to enjoy fresh air everyday.
Since we have 2 young boys, our home is childproofed and filled with lots of toys. Baby gates on the outside stairs, kitchen cabinets and bathroom drawers all have baby proof hardware. We also have a gated backyard where our kids roam and play on their bikes on the ramp.
Laundry room is downstairs and is also shared with the other tenants in the home. We are usually the ones who do the most laundry in the house.
There is a 1 covered parking spot and 1 uncovered parking spot reserved for us (left side of the driveway). There is also street parking. We have a 5 seater vehicle open to exchange.
Guest access
Our space is 1 floor, we live in the upstairs unit, must climb stairs.
Notes
Our home is split into 3 units. We are the upstairs unit. The tenants in both downstairs units are extremely relaxed where everyone works full times jobs so aren't home much. Backyard is shared and has many fruit trees you are welcome to harvest including banana, mango, lime, avocado, passion fruit, and star fruit. The laundry room is also shared and is located downstairs.

Neighbourhood
We love living in Hauula. We are 3 min walk to 2 great hiking trails (not busy at all!) and 3 min walk to Hauula Beach Park where there are small manmade pools perfect for little kids. We are a 3 min drive to Hauula Shopping center with Tamuras (grocery store), Longs Drugs CVS, and restaurants including Dominos.
7-10 minutes up the road is Laie with another shopping center, BYUH university, the Polynesian Cultural Center with Hukilau Marketplace, and lots of other great beaches along the way we go to like Kokololio Beach Park, Pounders Beach, and Hukilau Beach.
Surprisingly lots of things to do nearby!
Getting to my home
We are a 50 min drive from HNL Airport. Most people take Uber or Lyft, the price starts around $50 one way and goes up depending on time and demand. We like to coordinate same travel dates so we can leave the vehicle at the airport for you when we swap homes. If you land earlier in the day you'll love the drive, its beautiful!
Nearest airport
Daniel K. Inouye International Airport 50 min drive

Family of 4. I am from Canada and my husband is from Brazil. We have 2 boys under 3 and we also have a service dog named Mutzzi. We live on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii and fill our days with constant adventures, whether that's in the mountains or at the beach. We are very outdoorsy, spend most of our time outside.
We own and manage a campervan rental with glowing reviews. I am an experienced cleaner, I am both trained as a detailed cleaner and airbnb short term rental cleaner. I have over 13 years of experience, expect to come to a clean home and return to a clean home.
We used to travel a lot internationally before having children, now it's slowed down as we are planning to have more children. We are very flexible with our schedules.
We love opening our home up for those who have globes! We tend to do lots of last minute travel and so planning simultaneous trips are hard, thats why we are more than happy to accept a globe as its easier for us to use.
