General overview
This is a large 4 bed 4 bath (3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms are available for use) home with 2 main levels and a garage below. It's in a quiet, peaceful green-filled neighborhood, with easy access to all of Portland. I recommend that you have a car, although there are buses a couple of blocks away if needed. On a map, it looks as though it's far from the center of Portland, but with normal traffic, you can be anywhere in 15 minutes.
The space
The main floor has 2 living rooms, 2 dining areas, large kitchen, an area with the mini trampoline and stationary bike, and the side wing that our housemate occupies. I feel like a queen living here, honestly, it's so spacious and peaceful! I posted two photos from the real estate company because I need to get around to tidying the counters :). There is a sensory swing in the family room and a steam sauna and jacuzzi in the master bath.
Guest access
Ground level is garage, main level, and top level are the 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms. There are stairs to the front door and stairs to bedrooms.
Notes
The house is 3600 sf, and because of that, one wing of the house is rented to our lovely friend (female in her 30's). She's respectful and quiet, and only shares the kitchen space as her rooms are tucked away on the main side of the house, and the other 3 bedrooms are all upstairs. There are also 2 friendly brother cats who would love to have some affection (usually our housemate can feed them). There is a level 2 car charger in garage if needed.
Kids are welcome, we have a doggie/kid gate to use because it could be a risk to have toddlers due to the stairs.

It was a pleasure to host Meaganne and to meet her for a moment in passing. She was easy to communicate with in advance and during the exchange and she left the place in great shape. Thanks for exchanging, Meaganne!
Meaganne and her family stayed in my home about two weeks in a non-sim exchange. They were terrific guests -- easy to host -- and very considerate of my home. Communication was excellent. They left my place spic and span, with careful attention to how I requested to leave linens, doors, locks, keys, etc. There was even a sweet note for me when I returned home. I'd be happy to have them stay again, and definitely recommend them as guests.
Meaganne and her family were excellent guests leaving our home in pristine condition and they were also very friendly to communicate with. Although they had to leave earlier than planned, we are hoping to host them again the future. They are always welcome to stay in our home.
Awesome person and the ideal house guest. Would be delighted to have Meaganne stay again. Very respectful of my property and just an all round lovely human :-)
Emily and Jules kindly let me stay in their sweet guest cottage when I needed to make a quick dentist trip to Seattle. It was a perfect spot and had everything one could need. I was glad to have met them, they are kind and the type of people I would love to have as neighbors. I hope I can return the favor when my non-cat house becomes available!
Peter and Teodora recently stayed with us in our home on their epic PNW adventure. Our cottage was not available so they stayed in the master suite, and were lovely guests - friendly, tidy, and considerate. I hope that I can go on that kind of road trip someday as well!
My family and I were lucky enough to set up a non-sim exchange with Cam. She was incredible. She went above and beyond for us, with super organized, detailed notes about the house, and activities we could enjoy in San Diego. Her house was wonderfully located and very clean and comfortable. I know she will be moving, but if you get the chance to exchange with her, you'll be fortunate!
Thanks, Meaganne. Hosting your family was a great experience. I appreciate the care taken with my home and I look forward to visiting your place in Portland in the future!
Burcin and Yigit’s home in Edinburgh was lovely. We recently spent one night there out of three for a globe exchange; we had to change our plans due to mold in another home stay. Their house was wonderfully located in a beautiful neighborhood in Edinburgh, with a comfortable walk to most parts of the city or an easy bus ride. We were comfortable in their lovely high-ceiling home, and made excellent use of the outstanding café downstairs! We did not use the kitchen, but it looks like they had everything that a family would need :). Burcin was easy to communicate with and I highly recommend a visit!
Lisa really helped my family and I get out of a pinch when the other home we were staying in had mold. We did a lovely three day globe exchange in one of her apartments in Edinburgh, not this particular listing and it was perfect for our needs. She and her husband were super responsive and took care of us with a last minute notice the apartment was centrally located, and had everything that we needed. Edinburgh is an amazing city, and I highly recommend visiting. Thank you so much Lisa for your help and taking great care of us :).
Ian and Anna were wonderful guests. I didn't get the chance to meet them as I was traveling but the communication was great, they took excellent care of our two cats and home, and left the place spotless. Plus we came back to delicious maple fudge and a very sweet note. They are welcome back anytime and I hope to meet them in Vancouver sometime!
Leanne and Ken were delightful to host for a night as they made their way south. They left our guest home super tidy, and I was astonished that they even brought their own sheets! I would be genuinely happy to connect with them again, and perhaps in BC. Thank you for the delicious Canadian cookies and handy luggage tags. Warm wishes on your adventures!

My family (husband and 11 year old son) and I love to travel and we are ready to have more adventures! We met during an improv theater class and appreciate creativity through art, music, and exploring nature. I'm a retired makeup artist and my husband is a psychotherapist, and our son is an anime enthusiast.
*note: I don't have their photos on here due to the sensitive nature of my husband's work.
