I live a 5 minute drive to the lake and a 10 minute drive to the ski slopes at Heavenly (Epic Pass) so every season is an ideal time to be in South Lake Tahoe! There is tons to do here. In the summer, fishing, kayaking, boating, hiking or in the winter skiing, snowshoeing, or snow mobiling!
About my house: I live in the center of town, between the casinos and the y, or the touristy area and the local area. Convenient to get anywhere in town, and walking distance to anything you might need, a bar, restaurants, and market.
The space
I have a 2 bed 1 bath house with an attached studio ADU. This listing is only for the main house as the studio is often rented.
The main house has one bedroom with a queen bed, and one bedroom with queen over queen bunk beds. The top bunk has a 400 lb weight limit but please only plan for one adult or two kids on the upper bunk.
Notes
In the winter, I pay for snow removal but you would be responsible for removing snow off your vehicle.

For the winter months, you will be required to have AWD and snow tires, or chains. Only AWD will not cut it. The snow tires are critical!

Happy to show you a local spot or simply make suggestions on where to go!
We had an awesome time in Tahoe visiting Cindy's home. It was perfect for our small family. It's a great home in a quiet location but close to the action. Cindy was so responsive before, during and post exchange and also very flexible with our ever changing travel plans to the a holiday weekend and a snowstorm. I would love to visit Tahoe and Cindy's home again and are grateful for her hospitality 😁
Happy to host you and your family!
I came to Lake Tahoe to snowboard and to visit my best friend. The house is close to Heavenly Ski Resort and near many restaurants within a short drive and walking distance. Great place to stay and had everything we needed. Thanks again! We really appreciate it!
So glad you had a lovely stay! Safe travels and thanks for being a great guest!

Janet and her family were lovely guests. Communicative, clean, and generous. Left the house spotless! Would highly recommend her to other hosts/guests and hope we do a swap in the future!
Kara and her family were great guests! Left my house how she found it. Very clean! Bonus she was easy to communicate with and responsive.

Hello! I am Cindy, a remote worker Civil Engineer living with my wonderful boyfriend Joe in beautiful South Lake Tahoe. We have a 2 bed 1 bath house with an attached studio ADU with full kitchen and bath. This listing is only for the main house as often the studio is booked, but sometimes both are available! We live with our furry 90-lb husky Cooper and sometimes foster another dog from local rescues for short stints. I enjoy skiing, hiking, kayaking, and listening to crime junkie podcast.
