General overview
Our home is elevated, set up from the road, accessed by several steps. It is spacious and comfortable, a great place to relax. With 4 double bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 2 shower rooms theres plenty of room for family and friends. Theres a large outdoor deck with stunning views of Morecambe Bay, ideal for BBQ’s or pizza making with our Ooni pizza oven. A recent addition is a second balcony terrace for even better views!
Theres also a cabin at the bottom of the garden we use as a home office. It is equipped with shower room and small kitchen and has it’s own deck.
We have good wifi and a projector for watching films, sport etc.
The house is our main family home so has our possessions around and is not immaculate like an Airbnb. We keep it tidy though and the photos give a good indication of how you will find it.
We have one cat Leo that spends almost all of his time outdoors and sleeps in the outdoor utility room but he will need feeding and is friendly if you want to make a fuss of him.
The space
We have a comfortable living room with two sofas and a wood burner for the cooler months. Also a projector for watching films and a record player if you prefer to chill and listen to some vinyl or spotify.
Guest access
The house is up several steps so not suitable for the infirm and probably a bit of a pain with prams too!
The steps have handrails and are even and the elevated position of the house makes for incredible views. The house has three double rooms (one super king, one king, one double ) downstairs and one king upstairs along with a large landing space with 2 single beds for occasional use.
Notes
Parking is on street, there are two garage but we use them for storage, There’s a parking space between the garages where we park but it’s on a bit of a slope so unsuitable for some vehicles. On street parking is almost always easy.

Neighbourhood
Grange is a lovely traditional Victorian town with fabulous local shops, award winning bakers and butchers. 3 small supermarkets and lots of cafes. The promenade is lovely to stroll on and we have local woodland and fell walks from the front door. You’ll often see wildlife including deer on these walks.
Cartmel with its 3 Michelin Star restaurant l’enclume is less than 5 minutes in the car. Lake Windermere is 15 mins by car and the rest of the Lake District a little further. Liverpool and Manchester 1.5 hours. London 3 hours by train. Scotland possible as a day trip.

Car is best but we do have a train station. We could consider car exchange.

Getting around
Shops are less than 5 minutes walk. Train station and bus stop is under 10 minutes walk
