General Overview
Our 3 bedroom/2 bath home is fun and playful!
Our family friendly neighborhood is nestled among mature oak trees and is less than one mile from the popular "A Street" entrance to St. Augustine Beach.
There are restaurants, coffee shops, and surf shops along the nearby intersection of A1A Beach Blvd and A Street.
We have an electric Rad Wagon bike, a Madsen bucket bike, and other bikes for your use. Kayaks and surf boards, too! Or you can relax at the house and enjoy the screened-in pool with patio furniture and grill. Inside the home you will find a lot of books and kids toys, as well as a dedicated office space.
The Space
You will find 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a playroom, and office. We can accommodate 6 people in proper beds, but more guests can easily sleep with the use of two twin sleeping cushions, a futon, and a couch that converts to a bed.
Beds are as follows:
King bed in primary bedroom, with attached bathroom.
Two twin beds in kids room. These are short loft beds with room underneath each for a floor mattress.
Queen bed in guest room
Futon in office
Couch that converts to bed in playroom
A dog does live in this home. She won't be at the house during exchanges, but please take note if you have dog allergies.
We are open to allowing your pet but we'd prefer to discuss the details before confirming a pet to stay.
Guest Access
This home is a single level. There is a slight step up into the front door but is otherwise easily accessible.
Notes
The pool is usually closed Nov - March, depending on the weather. We do have a pool heater but we don't run it during the coldest months.

Neighbourhood
At St. Augustine Beach you'll find a beautiful beach, cafes, surf shops, and seafood restaurants.
Just two miles away you can experience some of our family favorites: the St. Augustine Amphitheater (great for live music and their lively Saturday morning farmer's market); the St. Augustine Lighthouse; and the Alligator farm.
A couple miles further will bring you to our Historic Downtown, where you can enjoy walkable streets, shops, restaurants, and Castillo de San Marcos ("the Fort").
Further outside of St. Augustine, you can enjoy more of Florida's beauty.
Jacksonville (~1 hour away) has major and minor league sports, a couple of wonderful museums, eclectic neighborhoods, and more.
Within a couple hours of driving you can experience some of our beautiful Springs, the theme parks in Orlando, and more. We're happy to advise if you're interested in discovering more of nearby Florida.
Getting to my home
St. Augustine is best reached by car.
We are open to a car exchange.
Uber, taxi, and the like can be hired from airport to the house.
The beach and nearby restaurants can be accessed on foot or bike. To explore other parts of the city, like the Lighthouse, Alligator Farm, or the Historic Downtown, a car would be easiest. There are also a couple of shuttle options, like the Old Town Trolley. Uber is also available.

Hi! We are a family of four, and our kids are ages 9 and 11. We are a multi-cultural family and we love to travel!
We enjoy all experiences: big cities, small towns, and the peaceful countryside. We like adventure and being active.
We are a homeschool and work-from-home family, which gives us a lot of flexibility with our schedule.
We love to visit anywhere in Europe. We would also love to do exchanges closer to home - Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, etc.! In the next couple years we would like to get our kids to some of the National Parks in Utah, Montana, Wyoming!
Languages spoken are English, Russian, and German.
We have loved our experiences exchanging through this platform over the past year, and we look forward to many more fun exchanges!
"We travel to the Boston area every July and January."
