General overview

This is an amazing, fully stocked, cozy get away cabin in the middle of Stanislaus National Forest in the town of Arnold, California. It is close to lots of restaurants and shops and fun year round.

Downstairs is Bedroom 1 - with a queen bed and Bedroom 2 - with a king bed, and one bathroom with a shower over tub. This is on the main level with the kitchen, living room and dining room.

Upstairs is Bedroom 3, the kids loft, with 2 queen beds and 1 twin bed, plus 2 fold out mattress pads and one bathroom with a stall shower.

Our cabin has a dishwasher, washer and dryer, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, instapot, blender, every other small appliance you could want. We also have lots of plates, platters, cups, silverware, etc. as well as extra sheets, blankets and towels.

We have tons of board games, puzzles, TV with DVDs, corn hole, etc. for entertainment and 3 heating / AC mini splits for comfort year round.

We have 3 inflatable stand-up paddle boards, extensive pool toys and floaties for the summer and sleds for the winter. 

We have found it to be perfect for 2 families. Parents downstairs in each bedroom and the kids upstairs in the kids loft aka Logan’s Loft.

We allow dogs but are allergic to cats. 

What you will love about this neighborhood

We are located in the Blue Lakes Springs area in Arnold. It is a great place to be for summer or winter.

WINTER: In the winter there is downhill and cross country skiing, sledding and snowshoeing at or near Bear Valley Ski Resort (30-40 minutes away). We have a cozy wood burning stove with lots of firewood. We also have a separate heating system.

SUMMER: In the summer there are lots of nearby lakes, rivers and hiking. Our cabin is walking distance to an amazing community center called Blue Lakes Springs. You can go swimming in the pool or lake, play tennis, pickleball, ping-pong, basketball, giant chess, cornhole, bocce...The list goes on. There is a children's play area. There are family movie nights, bingo and fun events. There is also a snack bar and restaurant.

We have a wood deck with a BBQ and a full house Air Conditioner.

We are 5-45 minutes from lots of great towns and places to see and things to do in gold country, like Big Trees State Park which has giant redwoods, Sonora, Angels Camp, Murphy's, Columbia, Natural Bridges and Dorrington. We are 1.5 hours from Dodge Ridge and Pinecrest and 2 hours from Yosemite.

Additional information

Cleaning: We are relatively new to this, but understand that either you can clean the place yourselves or we can ask our Cleaner if he is available. He charges $225. That includes all towels, sheets and beds, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning of bathrooms and surfaces. However, we do ask that you leave the place relatively picked up, like load and run the dishwasher, throw away your trash, etc. Please let us know which option you prefer with your request.

Parking: We have 2-3 off street parking spots, no parking is allowed on the street.
