Neighbourhood
Our neighborhood is one mile from our downtown (and walkable with a few hills) but yet quiet. It's possible to walk to our small downtown area with nice restaurants, breweries and shops. It's one of the older neighborhoods in Vista and every house is unique. It's definitely not a tract house. We are one mile from the transit center where it's possible to get a Sprinter Train to Oceanside for transfers to either Los Angeles or San Diego which is a lovely way to travel as much of the tracks are right next to the ocean.
Nearest airport
The closest airport in Palomar Airport in Carlsbad (20 minutes) although flying to San Diego International will probably be more convenient and less expensive.
Getting Around
It's possible to walk to our downtown with restaurants, breweries and coffee shops. Everything else is a short drive away except longer day trips to Los Angeles.
