General Overview

Welcome to our fully renovated beach house, just 50 metres from beautiful Regestranden Beach, the quieter continuation of the famous Sola Beach. The house comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests and is ideal for singles, couples, families, or small, respectful groups looking for a relaxing coastal getaway. Set on a spacious 2,000 m² property, you'll have plenty of room to enjoy outdoor living, whether you're dining outside, relaxing in the garden, or simply taking in the fresh sea air. Inside, you'll find: A bright and inviting living room with a cosy wood-burning fireplace A fully equipped kitchen and dining area, including a dishwasher A modern bathroom with underfloor heating, shower, toilet, and washing machine The property offers four bedrooms: Main house Master bedroom with a 180 cm double bed Second bedroom with a 160 cm double bed Annex (connected to the house) Two additional bedrooms, each with a comfortable single bed With several parking spaces available and direct access to one of Norway's most beautiful coastal areas, our beach house is the perfect base for enjoying beaches, nature, surfing, golf, Stavanger city, and everything the region has to offer.

The Space

Our summerhouse is a comfortable and relaxed home by the sea, surrounded by a spacious 2,000 m² property with plenty of outdoor space. It is a place to slow down, enjoy the fresh sea air and spend time together, whether indoors or outside. Inside, you'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen, cosy living areas and a large Smart TV with streaming apps. Outside, there is plenty of space to relax, enjoy meals and make the most of the long summer evenings. Two kayaks are available for guests who would like to explore the nearby coastline, and we also have private parking and an EV charger.

Guest Access

Guests will have the cottage and outdoor areas to themselves during their stay. You are welcome to enjoy the spacious garden and outdoor spaces, as well as our two kayaks for exploring the nearby coastline.

Neighbourhood

From the cottage, you have easy access to the beautiful Jæren coastline, known for its traditional stone walls, charming lighthouses and seemingly endless sandy beaches. Nearby Sola Beach, Ølberg and Vigdel are perfect for beach days, coastal walks, fresh seafood and outdoor experiences throughout the year. If you would like to explore more of the region, Stavanger is only a short drive away. Here you will find cosy cafés and restaurants, the historic wooden houses of Old Stavanger (Gamle Stavanger), museums, shopping and a vibrant cultural scene. Some of Rogaland's most spectacular natural attractions are also within easy reach for day trips: Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock), with its iconic views over the Lysefjord Kjerag and the famous Kjerag Boulder Månafossen, one of Norway's highest waterfalls Dalsnuten and Lifjell, popular hiking destinations with beautiful views of the fjords, mountains and surrounding landscape Gloppedalsura, an impressive landscape of enormous boulders Boat trips and fjord cruises through the beautiful Lysefjord Whether you're looking for active days filled with surfing, hiking and outdoor adventures, or peaceful evenings enjoying the fresh sea air and coastal surroundings, Rege is the perfect base for experiencing some of the very best of Southwest Norway.

Getting to my home

Our beach cottage is very easy to reach, just 5 minutes by car from Stavanger Airport (Sola). Although the airport is close by, you would hardly know it when staying here. The cottage is situated away from the main flight path, so you can enjoy the peaceful coastal surroundings and fresh sea air.

Getting Around

Having a car is the easiest way to explore the area and gives you the freedom to discover the beautiful beaches of Jæren, Stavanger, the fjords and the mountains. We have private parking at the cottage and an EV charger is available

We are a family of four – a couple who have been together for 29 years, with two grown-up children who have now moved away from home :) One is studying in Oslo and the other is working in Brussels, but we still love travelling and spending holidays together whenever we can.
