Summer and fall:
Excellent hiking opportunities with great views of the ocean, fjords, the Sunnmøre Alps and small town Ålesund.
In Ålesund you can rent kayaks, e-bikes. Book boat trips to the fjords. Book a wildlife sea safari to see puffins, seals and sea eagles. And if lucky the whales.
In winter:
Good possibilities to see the Aurora borealis (northern lights).
5 min drive to cross country tracks.
A 1 hr drive including a ferry boat ride takes you to Stranda Skiresort with the opportulity to ski from the mountains to the fjord.
The area is also one of the bedt in Norway for randonnee skiing.
The winter fishery in Plesund are famous for the cod fishery. Possibilities to book fishing trip in Ålesund.

Ålesund airport Vigra. 30 min by car and taxi, 45 min by bus.
