General overview

Our home is located in Almunge, in the suburbean area of Uppsala, Sweden. It is is a 2-floor souterrain house with a lovely garden at a dead-end street in a small residential area . There are four bedrooms, two bathrooms, one spacious living room with a dining area and fireplace, a newly renovated kitchen. Our garden has two separate terraces which allows you to enjoy the sun any time of the day. Plenty of toys are available, including a large outdoor trampoline. Dogs are welcome!

The space

In the master bedroom there is a 180 cm bed and a children's bunk bed as the kids sleep with us. 1 bedroom with 120cm bed 1 bedroom with 90cm bed (that can become a 180 cm bed) 1 bedroom is a playroom. Mattress can be put on the floor if needed. Fireplace in the living room Bigger dining table in the living room for entertaining guests.

Guest access

The entire house except for the small cottage in the yard. This space is Daan's office.

Notes

We have a charging station for your electric car. Depending on when the exchange takes place we also have winter equipment for your children to borrow. We don't wear shoes in the house.

5 min car ride or 20 min walk away from a lake where you can go swimming in the summer, ice skating/cross country skiing in the winter. Winter fishing is also possible There are two small grocery stores minutes away (ICA nära and Coop) from the house. A nice, fun and well-equipped play ground on walking distance. Getting around

There is a bus stop 10 minutes walking distance from our home. It takes 40 minutes for the bus to get into Uppsala central. From there you can take the train, which takes another 40 minutes to Stockholm.

at Uppsala University. Daan works as an IT consultant. Our shared passions include outdoor activities and engaging in various sports, with a particular fondness for volleyball and climbing. Additionally, during the winter months, Our family consists of me (Tina), my husband Daan, and our daughters: Nora (6), Naomi (4), and Hailey (1).
