Hello!
My wife and I recently purchased a 1924 California Craftsman home in Riverside, CA. (For those not in the area, Riverside is just a name, there isn't really a river of mention)
Our home is quirky, with an odd layout but lots of charm. It has 2 bedrooms and an office along with 1 full bath and 2 half baths. We have a large swimming pool and a smaller 4 person spa. We have a vegetable garden (depending on timing) and a lot of improvements in progress.
Our home is located only blocks away from the most popular walking/hiking trail in the area, Mount Rubidoux. We are also located only a 15 min walk from downtown where there are many museums, restaurants. We are located about 45 min east of Disneyland by car. Laguna Beach is about 1hr away and Palm Springs and Joshua Tree national Park are about 1 hr east of us and if you prefer mountains, we are about a 45 min drive from Big Bear Lake. We are very centrally located to many different things you may wish to do while in Southern California.
Guest access
2 stories. The primary bedroom is the only room on the second floor.
Notes
We have one cat who is very special to us and we will only want to exchange if we feel comfortable with someone taking good care of her.

Hello, I am just getting started exploring this process and will likely come back to add more information later.
For an introduction, my name is Cody (M 42) and my wife is Erynn (F 38), we both work in education. We are both artists and met each other in art graduate school. Our family is just ourselves and our very precious 20 year old cat, Kali. Our home is 90% vegan, I still have a weakness for cheese sometimes. I love to travel, although the flights are becoming more cramped each year! My wife also loves to travel but has never been outside of the USA. We'd like to change that in 2024; I'm thinking a country where English is spoken to start off easily. We enjoy gardens, architecture, nature walks, wildlife, and museums. We are past our partying ages and prefer quiet conversation.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
