We have a lovely 4 bedroom family home with log burners and large kitchen/family area, 2 bathrooms and garden views looking over a meadow where deer love to roam. We are in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Ashdown forest. We are a very vibrant village with all you need including shops, cafes, pubs, farms, walking and cycling trails, playgrounds, skateparks and monthly markets. You can walk of cycle down the forest way to either they market town of east grinstead or the village of Hartfield where you can find the famous Winnie the Pooh cafe and Pooh bridge. Close by we have The bluebell railway at Sheffield park 15mins drive Haven farm - with nature trails, tea room, ice cream parlour and an indoor inflatable place 15mins drive East grinstead town centre 5min drive Trains into central London 50mins into London Victoria Brighton beach 45min drive Golf course - walking distance Weir wood reservoir- water sports - walking distance Every summer we have a music festival in the village. Hever castle - 20min drive chessington world of adventures - 45mins drive

Hi, we are the McCarthy family! My husband Charlie is a PE teacher and football coach and I’m now a stay at home mummy after retiring from professional football/soccer. My children Shay (6years old) and Morgan (4 years old) love the outdoors and exploring. They are very curious and intrigued to learn about new cultures. Me and my husband spent a year travelling in 2015 and it’s changed our lives forever. We would love to take the kids to as many different places around the world as possible but would still like them to feel comfortable and stay in a homely environment and would like people to feel that why when staying at ours.
