Neighbourhood

Our house is located on the Szentendre Island in Szigetmonostor, 30 miles from Budapest. The Island itself is in the Danube between the Danube Bend and Budapest. The Island is 31 km long with an area of 56 km² and has beautiful shores. The village is a calm place with 3000 inhabitants. This is a perfect place, if you prefer the countryside, prefer a relaxing place or want to have an active vacation with horse riding, kayaking and hiking, going to our community-sauna but also want to visit Budapest (40 min drive by car), Visegrád or Esztergom.
