A beautiful patio provides the perfect place to hang in warmer months and a cozy gas fireplace keeps the place warm in winter. Our home is also 30 minutes from the ocean, 20 minutes from Lake Winnipesaukee, and 60 minutes from the White Mountain National Park. The closest ski mountain is a short 35-minute drive away. Its close proximity to Boston, Maine and all the best New Hampshire has to offer makes our house the ideal home base for all kinds of outdoor adventures. Area highlights include: Portsmouth, New Hampshire (30 min) North Conway, New Hampshire (70 min) Lake Winnipesaukee (20 min) Gunstock Ski Resort (35 min) Countless hiking, mountain biking, and trail running trails. We're conveniently located 90 minutes north of Boston and 50 minutes from Portland, Maine. Settled in a quiet neighborhood our home also features a generous yard that abuts 100+ acres of conservation land.

The space

There are two floors of living space. Upon entering our side door, you'll arrive in a mudroom that brings you to the dining and kitchen area. From there you enter into the living room where the pine ceiling soar. Contnuing around the center stairway you'll find the door to the master suite, inside are a large room, walk-in closet and master bath with soaking tub and shower. Next in the downstairs hall are a mechanical closet housing the washer and dryer. There's a unique powder room on the first floor featuring a pebble wall. The center staircase leads to a landing under a large skylight. Off the second-floor landing are two bedrooms and a bath. The first bedroom is light and airy and features a full bed. The second bedroom boasts ample play space and a twin bunk bed. Outside you'll find a large patio and yard. The backyard abuts 100 acres of conservation land and snowmobile trails (access to the trails is at the end of the road).

Sarah

We are a homeschooling family of five living in rural New Hampshire between the Seacoast and Lakes Region of New Hampshire. We're new to home exchange but have extensively used AirBnB instead of hotels because we love the personal touch many hosts provide for their guests. We love sharing our home and frequently entertain. We're eager to travel the world with our three children to create lasting memories.
