Rose-Mary

We are Ton and Rose-Mary, We are a retired Dutch/Australilan couple living in Portugal for nearly 17 years. We used to live in The Netherlands. We have 5 childeren, 8 grandchilderen. One daughter lives in Australia (near Penrith, NSW) with her husband and our two granddaugters. Our other childeren live in The Netherlands. We live in a rural area in het Beira region of Portugal. An hour and 15 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean and 1 hour from the snow slopes of the Estrela da Estrela (highest point of Portugal Continent). This area is famous for its walking routes, river beaches, xisto houses, rural setting and peace. Our village is a 1 hour drive from the historical city of Coimbra and Viseu. Our community is small, but nearby all services required.
