We have a large kid-friendly 6 bedroom home in a quiet and safe neighborhood, walking distance to a community pool.
We live in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, approximately 3 miles from the beach. Our area is called The Grand Strand, as we are part of about 60 miles of uninterrupted sandy beaches!
The area draws a lot of tourists throughout the year, which means there’s always plenty to do! You’ll find activities galore, with things for the kids like mini golf, laser tag, zip lines, etc. There are more than 2,000 restaurants in the area, so you’re sure to find something good to eat. Additionally, the town is known as The Golf Capital of the World, with more than 90 golf courses!
I’m in the process of gathering more photos, so feel free to ask!! We’re new to this community, but have many great Airbnb reviews as guests and two great reviews of our home as hosts (on a housesitting site). We recently spent two years full-time traveling, so we’re not new to these types of experiences! 🙂
The space
The home is approximately 4,000sqft. There is one bedroom and an office downstairs, 4 bedrooms on the second floor (one is a second master), and a large room on the top floor. We have five kids, so our space is set up in that manner- would be a great exchange for another family!
The bottom floor bedroom has a king bed.
On the middle floor the bedrooms are as follows:
One with a twin bed
One with a double bed
One with a double bed and a twin bed
One set up as a playroom- plush queen air mattress available, or we can rearrange the other beds if needed!
On the top floor, there is a twin bed and a futon.
There is also another twin mattress that floats around; it's usually found in the floor of one of the kids' rooms when we have sleepovers.
Three full and one half bathrooms.
Guest access
Three story home at the very end of a culdesac. Fenced in yard.
Notes
There is a trampoline in the backyard. Also surfboards, body boards, bicycles, and beach toys available for use.
