Getting around

We live five minutes from the neighbourhoods centre, with a large shopping mall, cinema, restaurants, library, bars, cafes etc. To get around there are several ways to do so, depending on where one wants to go. City centre is 5 minutes by bus (slussen) and approximately 5 minutes subway to the central station. But already at Slussen you are in the city, in Södermalm, the more relaxed and cozy part of Stockholm, with a huge amount of restaurants, cafe's, shops, bars, art exhibitions, parks, concerts etc. To go to for example Skansen or Gröna Lund, there are also several ways, but a nice way (but not the fastest way) is to take a approximately 20 min walk in beautiful nature scenery, and then take the ferry over to DjurgÅrden island, where everything is reachable by foot. Vasa museum, abba museum etc is also here. From the point where you rake ferry, you can also take the ferry the other way, and reach the archipelago in a short ferry ride. It is also reachable by bus and train.
