After many years of traveling and a few years of managing luxury vacation rentals, we took the best of what we loved from our own experience to build our home in one of the most beautiful places we know- Ojochal, Costa Rica.  The home was built to showcase the natural beauty of the area- with big windows featuring the towering, jungle clad mountains (complete with a waterfall in rainy season!), the shimmering Pacific ocean and the jungle (including daily toucan visits).   We love that we are almost completely secluded with no close neighbors, so at night all you hear is the sound of the waves, nearby river, or the light rain in rainy season.   This means you can soak in our outdoor, ocean-view tub off of the master bedroom without any fears of being interrupted by neighbors or passerbys, maybe just a noisy flock of parrots. There’s so much to do in our area- spectacular, tropical beaches are a short drive, so many waterfalls to chase, Ojochal is sometimes called the foodie capital of Costa Rica, boat tours, ATV tours, horseback riding, surfing, scuba diving, ziplining, rafting - there’s really something for everyone! Yet sometimes our favorite thing to do is simply hang out and watch the sunset from the pool with the grill going and kids playing in the pool while the toucans and parrots put on a show for us!

We are a family of 4 currently living in the jungle/beach village of Ojochal on the Southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica. We like to say we are citizens of the world. We have a brilliant 5 year old daughter and wonderful 5 month old son. We built our dream home here in Ojochal, and discovered we share a common obsession (perhaps borderline addiction) to collecting plants and gardening. When not cooling off in neighboring waterfalls or playing on one of our gorgeous local beaches, we also have a small, boutique property management company.  After a few years focused on building our home and growing our family, we realize how much we miss traveling.
