Megeve is ideally based for exploring the local area.
Eat and authentic pizza in Courmayeur a little over an hour away
Explore the narrow alleyways of Yvoire or Annecy and take a boat tour on the lake.
Get altitude thrills with a hot air balloon or light aircraft flight or take the cable car to the top of the Aiguille de MIdi then take a Step in to the void on the Skywalk.
