General Overview

Our home is nestled in the jungle with a view to the ocean and surf beach. Local restaurants are located near by.
We live in a quiet part of Bali where the tourists are very limited. We live in a very peaceful area where you can enjoy the scenic views of coconut and banana trees with the ocean behind. Looking back it's mountains and endless greenery. If you want the Bali in its original form then this would suit you. No hussle and bustle here.
We have a lovely infinity pool at your disposal on those warm balmy Bali days and evenings.

Gary and Andrea have a very special Villa in Bali set high up amongst the jungle and away from the chaos of the Bali traffic. It is a place for those wanting to relax and unwind and take in the beautiful views. Their home includes lovely staff who take care of your every need should you wish something. It is also best suited for people who love pets - whether dogs, several cats, birds or fish - there's no shortage of entertainment and action! They kindly trusted us with their car and motorbike to get around the island which was quite an experience! Some may prefer a car and driver as the traffic and driving is very challenging. Gary and Andrea arranged their driver to pick us up at the airport and we hired him during our stay - he was just great! We so enjoyed the people of Bali and the nearby Balian Beach (5 min. motorbike ride) with its small restaurants and laid-back surfing vibe. Thank you Gary and Andrea for sharing your wonderful home with us - it was a trip of a life-time and we will retain so many incredible memories.

Gary and Andreas home in Bali is an absolute hidden gem away from the crazy busy tourist spots! This was what we were looking for and absolutely loved it! The house, the pool, the views, the location, the staff and their lovely pets - Amazing! We really enjoyed taking care of their animals and they will be dearly missed! We also exchanged cars but we would not recommend driving yourself unless you are already experiences and used to asian traffic (we used to live in Thailand) We thank them for their trust in us though:) You can easily get a driver to take you around Bali and we used their house as a base to explore more of the off the beaten track regions of this stunning island! Gary and Andrea are both lovely people and we are happy we managed to see them briefly at the airport both in Bali and Mallorca! We would have loved to spend more time with them in person! Communication was great and everything was very organized! Perfect hosts indeed!

My wife Andrea and myself(Gary) currently live in Bali. We are both retired and are now concentrating on a life of discovery and travel. New people, places, environments, cultures and cuisine. We currently have 2 small dogs and cats that require looking after while we are travelling. 
We are open to anywhere in the world and we would prefer swapping our home with people who own their home. We rely on you and you on us. Pet sitting for us in not an issue as we are asking for the same.
We live about 2 hours West of Kuta on the coast and on a river. We are elevated to capture the view of the ocean and capture the cooling sea breeze, we are also high enough for the river never to impact us.
We live in an area that has the ocean and river Infront of us and the natural Bali jungle behind us.
We have a car and motor scooter that we might be able to help you with.
