General overview
Our home is a three bedroom condo backing onto a lovely park. It is close to all amenities and public transportation and a fabulous urban wildlife park. It is fully stocked with everything you would need for a comfortable stay! The Rocky Mountains are a 1/2 hour away and Banff National Park is 1 hour west. We are close to public transportation to take you to all areas of the city.
The space
Our home is very comfortable condo in a 50 condo development. It can sleep 6 and possibly 7 (if one is a child). The home is fully stocked and very comfortable with 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. We also have a sauna in the basement. It is a 4 level condo so not accessible if you cannot do stairs.
Guest access
We have 4 levels and 4 sets of 7 steps to each level. The living room level leads out to a small yard with a BBQ and patio furniture and backs onto a lovely green space with a small creek running through it.
Notes
We have a senior cat that would need to be fed and plants to water. There is a possibility to include a vehicle. A work space can be set up, if necessary.

Neighbourhood
Our neighbourhood is quiet and safe. We are close to a large urban wildlife park and it is awesome for walks, bike rides, and cross country skiing, It's not uncommon to see deer, coyotes and bobcats roaming around occasionally both in the park and in the community. The neighbourhood has all amenities you may need.

It's about a 25 minute drive from the international airport depending on traffic.

There are shops and other amenities in the community which can be reached by public transportation or a generous walk. There is a possibility to exchange a vehicle.

My husband, Ken, and I, Sandi, are newcomers to the home exchange world. We love to travel, and since we are retired, we are very flexible in our travel times and locations. I am a retired high school special needs teacher (I still substitute teach as I can't seem to give up working with the students!) and my husband is a retired airline IT professional (he now has his part-time dream job as a bicycle mechanic). We live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada - the gateway to the Canadian Rockies and home of the world famous Calgary Stampede. Our home is a comfortable 3 bedroom condo close to public transportation and all amenities as well as adjacent to the largest urban wildlife park in North America - Fish Creek Provincial Park. We currently have one senior cat sharing his home with us.
