Neighbourhood

Our neighbourhood is quiet and safe. We are close to a large urban wildlife park and it is awesome for walks, bike rides, and cross country skiing, It's not uncommon to see deer, coyotes and bobcats roaming around occasionally both in the park and in the community. The neighbourhood has all amenities you may need.

Getting Around

There are shops and other amenities in the community which can be reached by public transportation or a generous walk. There is a possibility to exchange a vehicle.

Ken A Bieber

My husband, Ken, and I, Sandi, are newcomers to the home exchange world. We love to travel, and since we are retired, we are very flexible in our travel times and locations. I am a retired high school special needs teacher (I still substitute teach as I can't seem to give up working with the students!) and my husband is a retired airline IT professional (he now has his part-time dream job as a bicycle mechanic). We live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada - the gateway to the Canadian Rockies and home of the world famous Calgary Stampede. Our home is a comfortable 3 bedroom condo close to public transportation and all amenities as well as adjacent to the largest urban wildlife park in North America - Fish Creek Provincial Park. We have a dog and a cat. The cat stays in the condo but the dog will come with us when we vacate for guests.
