General overview

It's a 100m2 apartment totally renovated and situated in a residential area 10 mn to the center. The street overlooks a little park with famous Turkish poets statues. The flat is on the second floor (with elevator) and you can see the Bosphorus and the Asian part of the city from all windows.

The space

The interior is modern and sunny and the open plan living area is composed of 2 large rooms with 2 different seating areas. LCD TV and dvd are available in the living area as well as in the bedroom. The bedroom is also composed of 2 rooms open planned leading to a modern bathroom with shower and large bath. The kitchen is very modern and fully equiped with a dish washer and washing machine.Wifi available.

Neighbourhood

Situated in Maçka, the most hip area of the city with all the luxurious shops, bars and restaurants. The house is on the european side of the city. Markets, liquor shops, hairdressers, banks are very close to the house. Istanbul is a lively city full of festivals, exhebitions and museums. People are friendly and helpful. The street overlooks a small parc and the "W" Hotel as well as swissotel are 2 mn walking distance. Next to the house you will find all kind of public transportation to visit the city (bus, boat and tram). You can easely visit all the attractions in the old town by tram such as Topkapı Palace, Haghia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar and spice market. By boat you can go from one edge to the other on the Bosphorus passing by the lovely wooden houses called "yalı". Down the house is Beşiktaş fish market with full of fish restaurants as well as little cafes and local eatery. Closest museums are Beşiktaş Marine Museum (newly restored) and Istanbul Modern Museum (at Tophane, 10 mn). İf you like jogging you will find nice walking tracks at Maçka Parc, just 5 mn above the house.

Shops are within 2 mn walk and all kind of public transportation 5 mn down the house
