Neighbourhood

We are in a small village (750 people) on the inner harbour. It’s a 5 min drive to Waihi Beach (3000 people but swells to 30,000 in summer). Waihi Beach is an 8km stretch of beach suitable for swimming surfing and water sports. The village shopping centre has boutique shops, cafes/restaurants, a couple of pubs. 
Nearby in Waihi township there’s cycle trails through the scenic Karangahake Gorge. Nearest city is one hours drive away in Tauranga. Rotorua is 1 and half hours away and Auckland is 2 hours away.

Getting to my home

Like most of New Zealand, A Car is necessary and can be included in the swap.

Getting Around

The bigger Supermarkets are 15-20min away but they deliver to your door.
No other delivery services such as Uber eats are in the area. 
Courtesy buses run from pubs and clubs… by clubs i mean the boat club and the RSA. Not night clubs.
