Neighbourhood

The beach at Gudmindrup is the main attraction in the area, being chosen as one of Denmarks best beaches many times. Walking 5 min. You will find the local beach restaurant serving icecream and Burgers in charming surroundings. Children can paint on rocks, and once a week they have a live band for entertainment. Grocery shopping can be done In Lumsås or Højby, 4km. From the house, or in Holbæk or Nykøbing Sj. 20 min. by car, where you find shops and Cafe’s. Every Saturday during Summer, you can find a flee marked in Vig 10min. drive from our home, that is worth a visit. Or every Wednesday’s in a smaller version. It has a nice playground and food and drinks as well. Rørvig is a nice harbor summer town, as well. That can be reached in 20 min. by car. also worth a drive to try the Streetfood area. Driving 20. min. north, will take you to the ferry to Aarhus if you want to spend a day in the second largest town in Denmark. Many nice places near by, to visit for family’s with kids, such as sommerland Sjælland, Nygården that offers a playground with animals, or going crab fishing at many small Harbors.
