Neighbourhood
The upstate of South Carolina is packed with restaurants, bars, hiking, views, sports, and shopping. Here are a few of the activities available just a short drive away from the Tiny Home:
Falls Park: a popular place for families and pet lovers, perfect for those who love watching ducks and dogs and who enjoy walking trails. The beautiful bridge is a downtown Greenville staple. Be sure to check out the garden and bring a picnic to enjoy this peaceful spot. There are two on-site restaurants and it is centrally located to other popular downtown eateries.
The Swamp Rabbit Trail: Bring your own bike or rent one at Reedy Rides to explore the nearly 20-mile-long Greenville Health System Swamp Rabbit Trail, which runs along the Reedy River from downtown Greenville to Travelers Rest (a city in Greenville County). Stop at mile marker 24 to get your heart pumping at the Bike Skills Flow Park or pack a picnic and take a break along the way at the Furman University campus. Before you head out, download the mobile GHS Swamp Rabbit Trail food guide to find lunch and dinner spots, or the ArcGIS Interactive Map, which bookmarks features on the trail from restrooms and water fountains to ATMs.
Discovery Island Water Park: Slide, swim, and enjoy the summer at Discovery Island waterpark. With thrilling water slides, delicious concessions, and a number of water attractions by the pool, Discovery Island at Southside Park (Simpsonville) has something for everyone to do under the summer sun. The park is only 1.5 miles from the Tiny Home
