Award winning architectural home set on 100 private acres 20 mins drive from world famous beaches. Designed for the Australian outdoor lifestyle it is an entertainers dream with gourmet kitchen and luxury finishes throughout. The connection to the surrounding bush creates a sense of peace and calm. A beautiful stone fireplace and rammed earth walls fill the home with warmth.
The space
There are two homes on the property - the Main residence (pictured) built in 2019
It has three bedrooms (King Bed and 2 Queen Beds) and an office with queen bed. There is a single day bed in each of the Queen rooms.
Effectively sleeping 10.
The "little house" is alongside the garage and includes a full kitchen, bathroom and two Queen bedrooms. We have this set up as guest accommodation and a billiards room. This portion is available year round.
Would suit large or multiple families.
Guest access
The Main Residence is single level and completely wheelchair accessible, with only a 5cm step from the garage. All hallways and spaces have 1.2m clearance and doorways are 80cm clearance. Showers are walk in/flush to floor and include a handheld shower. Shower chair can be provided.
Wheelchair access to the Little House is possible but does involve a gravel pathway. Bathroom is manageable but less user friendly.
Notes
We are a multigenerational Lewis family living on "Lewis Lane" so you will have plenty of support near by if needed - our in laws are on the neighbouring property.
There are around 60 or so cattle that fill our paddocks.
We also have a dog and a cat - can arrange care if needed.
Expect to see plenty of birds, kangaroos and the occasional echidna.

Neighbourhood
We live on a rural property about 15mins drive from the closest town (Maclean) on the far north coast of New South Wales.
Nearby Yamba, is a beautiful coastal town (20minutes), famous for its pristine beaches, world class surf and fresh prawns. It is surrounded by National Parks and the the mighty Clarence River. https://www.australiantraveller.com/nsw/north-coast/yamba/a-locals-guide-to-yamba-nsw/
Beautiful Byron Bay is about an hour north and is worth ticking off your bucket list. Although as far as beach towns go Yamba is the pick.
Getting to my home
If arriving internationally I would recommend flying into Sydney and spending a few days exploring the city before heading north by either plane or train. Flights are reasonably priced.
The closest Airport is Ballina/Byron roughly an hour north.
Public transport is limited in Australia outside of the major cities, we have a local bus service but really a car is needed.
We can possibly provide a vehicle during your stay.
Remember that Australia is a vast country and travel time between destinations can be quite surprising - particularly for Europeans.
Nearest airport
Domestic Airport - Ballina/Byron - 1hr North
International -
Gold Coast - 1.5hrs North
Brisbane - 3hrs North
Sydney - 7hrs South
There are bus services connecting to the area.
Getting around
You really need a car.
Depending on your needs we may be able to supply you with a vehicle.
We have a small general store about 5 mins drive away but the closest town providing all your needs is either Maclean (15mins) or Yamba (20 mins)
