Neighbourhood
In the direct neighborhood there are small family houses, a large playground, an open-air swimming pool, several small playgrounds and a natural reserve are within walking distance. It is a former renatured airfield, ideal for biking, skating or just walking. A beach volleyball field, Mountainbike Trail and skating Park are also in walking distance for young and sportive people.
It’s a quiet environment, to relax after a long day out in the mountains or in the city. A short stroll brings you to a local coffee roast company with exquisite coffee and home-made pastry.
A bus station in 3 minutes walking distance with different lines allows a fast trip to all the Munich attractions:
Munich center, Marienplatz, Nymphenburger Schloss and Gardens, olympia park, Hofbräuhaus, Deutsches Museum, Residenz, Isar and Englischer Garten, Surfer at the Eisbach, Allianz Arena for football. And of course all the Biergärten in and around Munich.
Attractions like Neuschwanstein castle, the lakes Chiemsee and Starnberger See and even Salzburg or the Zugspitze can be easily visited as a day trip.
For nature lovers we suggest to start with our nearby Perlacher Forst (nice Biergarten available on the ways around), or go for a hike in the Voralpenland (Rosenheim, Kufstein) or visit Bad Tölz or Lengries for moderate walks.
Shopping possibilities are all within 5-10 minutes walking distance available (bakery, grocery store, drugstore, 2 discounters in a large shopping area).
For families with smaller kids we offer a great (German) book with tours for small kids.

Munich Airport, by public transportation about 45 minutes
Getting around
Everything can be done by public transport or by foot. Of course if you prefer a car, Parking on the street is easily available. Our car might be available, depending on arranged time.
