General overview
The Pacific Northwest at its best! We are a family of 4 plus 1 little chihuahua/pug doggie.
The Pacific Northwest offers so much outdoor activities and Beaverton is very centrally located - 20-30 minutes to downtown portland, 1 hour to Multnomah falls, less than 2 hours to Mt Hood, 2 hours to Canon Beach, less than an hour to Salem, 3.5 hours to Seattle. Our public transit is surprisingly great. You can take the max (train) from inside the airport, to Beaverton and beyond.
There are so many restaurants near us! Beaverton has become overwhelmed with new food truck pods, restaurants, shops, and unique experiences ever since COVID. There is an abundance of playgrounds, hiking trails, waterfalls, berry farms, lavender farms, goat yoga, I mean you name it, Portland is vibrant, weird and always something going on.
The space
2 story 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bath. Backyard with a trampoline. Very kid friendly neighborhood, tons of hiking and things to do. We have a gas fireplace for the rainy days and central air for the summers! The kitchen is great for cooking, the living room is cozy to snuggle up for a movie and we have a separate family room we use as our office. If you need to work, we can have the desks set up as a working space!

There are 2 stories, typical carpet stairs. All bedrooms are upstairs but if needing more beds, you can use the downstairs living room and family room and set up cots/air mattresses/couch.

Getting to my home
Fly into Portland international airport and take the max (train) through Downtown Portland into Beaverton. We are about a 10-15 minutes drive from the nearest stop, which I would say Uber/Lyft would be easiest. There are shuttles/taxis/Ubers from the airport if you choose to skip the max. Or we could arrange to park our car at the airport for you to pick up. That can all be arranged ahead of time if the timing works out.

Portland International airport 35 minutes without traffic. Up to an hour with traffic.
Getting around
There is a car you can borrow. Either a Honda Odyssey 2021 or a Toyota Corolla. All depends on the stay. We also have bikes that you can use and Scooters for the kids.
