General overview
Our spacious apartment in St Kilda has three bedrooms (or two bedrooms and one office), a large kitchen and bathroom with both bath and shower. It has the buzzing St Kilda on one side of the street (shops, restaurants, bars) and the quiet & family friendly Elwood on the other side. It really is the best of both worlds. With everything you need within a five minute walk from your doorstep, including the beach and Botanical Gardens, our apartment is a pure gem.
The space
The balcony has a lot of sun during the day. Even better: lots of privacy, which is very uncommon for a busy city like Melbourne.
The living room, office and kids room are on the sunny side of the apartment, making them very light and cozy. The master bedroom is on the shade side, which is nice and cool in summer.
Guest access
The apartment is located on the second floor, there is no elevator. We have a 2yr old and have not had any problems with the stairs, they are not steep and there is room for a pram at the bottom of the stairs.
Notes
Ideally, our cat George is included in the swap. He is a very friendly and easy going 4 year old boy who loves to sleep.

Neighbourhood
St Kilda is probably the most popular area in Melbourne as it has absolutely everything you can think of. Just this week we got named as Victoria's first live music precinct. The beach and botanical gardens are only a five minute walk away. Public Transport takes you everywhere, the CBD is approx. 25min by tram. The apartment comes with one gated parking spot as well.

VERY close to public transport: busses, trams and trains. The apartment comes with a gated parking spot, we walk or drive everywhere.

Hi there!
We are an Aussie/Dutch family of four: mum Irene (Dutch), Dad Harvey (Australian), daughter Mia (2yr, Aussie/Dutch) and cat George (4yr). We live in the wonderful suburb St Kilda, in Melbourne Australia.
After living in Australia for the last ten years, we would now like to make the move to The Netherlands, for a year or two. We are looking for a couple or young family who would like to do the same the other way around.
