New Mexico is incredibly special and has always been one of my favorite states. Sally and Pete's home in Taos offers stunning views of the landscape that will make you want to return year after year. Located in an isolated area, I saw wildlife every day and enjoyed unobstructed views of nature. Despite its seclusion, the home is close enough to town for all the conveniences you need. Day trips to nearby towns are easy, and Santa Fe is a must-visit. The balcony is the perfect place to enjoy meals with sweeping views, and the bed is spacious and very comfortable. Everything about this stay was wonderful, and Sally and Pete are exceptional hosts.
Sally and Pete are one of the hosts I highly look up to. My friend Jihong (PLU#10623 and #13850) and I found ourselves relaxing as soon as we stepped into their guest suite with an expansive view of idyllic, tranquil high dessert landscape in Taos NM. They prepared some basic groceries such as eggs, milk, coffee, fruits for us so that rushing out of the door in the morning to a near by ski resort was a breeze. Pete offered to make a fire in the guest suite in an evening, which turned into an endless conversation over a cup of tea around a warmth of fire. Their home is a product of their love for nature- and being welcomed in their home is such a treat to learn and explore the area. I have already asked if we can come back again. And I am very much looking forward to host them in my NYC apartment.
I was delighted to welcome Sally and Pete to our Paris home for a week in April 2024. Communication before their arrival was excellent. They proved to be ideal guests, treating our home with care and respect. They cleaned the apartment very well and went above and beyond in helping prepare our home for the next set of guests arriving after their departure, which was greatly appreciated. I would not hesitate to host Sally and Pete again, but hopefully at my home in Nice. My mom and I are looking forward to visiting their home in Taos in a couple of weeks!
We stayed in Anne and Mateo’s place in Montmartre for a week in April. It was perfect for us as we explored Montmartre for the first time and enjoyed Paris and the surrounding areas.
The neighborhood was a great place to take in the sights
Thank you Anne for taking such good care of us
The video that you sent to inform us how to find the keys and open the doors were very helpful
Anne and her mother Jacque stayed in our Taos guesthouse for a week in early May
We enjoyed meeting them and appreciate their nice feedback about our place and leaving the guesthouse clean and tidy
Tomoko and her friend JiHong stayed with us at our guest house in Taos
We really enjoyed meeting them and they were great guests
We hope they enjoyed staying with us as much as we loved hosting them
Thank you for leaving a lovely gift of a bottle of wine and delicious chocolates
We hope to exchange soon
