It is possible to move around here by public transport and reach great destinations. e.g. you are by train in about 40 minutes at Lake Starnberg or 60 minutes in Murnau (Blauer Reiter). If you are fit, it is also totally worthwhile to be on the road here by bike, as the area is very beautiful. There is an hourly train to Munich. (Duration approx. 1h)

Hello, there are five of us living in a beautiful large apartment with charming balconies on Lake Ammersee. We work independently as a doctor and carpenter and have three wonderful daughters aged 24, 17, and 15. Our eldest daughter is studying architecture in Vienna. We love to ride our bikes to one of the many nearby lakes, swim and sail there or play beach volleyball and picnic on the shore. We look forward to welcoming you to our apartment and our great area! Not all corners in our apartment have been completely renovated yet. So you are welcome to bring in ideas for e.g. beautiful tiles:)
