Neighbourhood

We are walking distance to some great parks, and the neighbourhood is very friendly and safe. You can walk to a grocery store, LCBO and Beer Store (alcohol sales), and some great restaurants, including a wonderful French bistro with great coffee, bistro fare, and pastries! You can walk to nearby tennis courts and outdoor city pool with splash pad.

Nearest airport

Pearson International Airport (YYZ) 37 km away

Getting around

You can hop on a local bus to get to nearby malls, a farmers market, and downtown Burlington with ease. You can get on the GO train to explore further afield to Niagara, Toronto, and beyond. From downtown Toronto you can use the TTC to get around. We are close by major highways and about an hour to the New York state border. Driving wise you can get to Stratford (theatre), Niagara on the Lake (wineries), and St Jacobs (farmers and flea market). There are beaches along Lake Ontario that are safe for swimming, though the water is pretty cold.

I work from home so I can meet for a coffee. I have a 6 and 3 year old and a large backyard and they love playdates!

Alysha

My family is made up of myself, my husband, and our two kids - our daughter born in 2017, and our son born premature in 2020 (pandemic baby!). We also have a wonderful yellow lab. We love to travel and have been to destinations such as Cambodia (honeymoon) and Costa Rica twice as a family.
