General overview

Sunny, colorful studio apartment in uptown Manhattan! Great access to transportation, safe building, walkable neighborhood

The space

My home is essentially a studio. I have a very comfortable living space with a great couch and a tv. Small, but efficient kitchen. Nice, clean bathroom. My bedroom is tiny, tucked away in the large closet for privacy, and equipped with a memory foam queen sized bed. The sofa is VERY comfortable for one person to sleep on. And additionally, I have a queen sized air mattress. Other stuff: High speed wifi, television with Netflix, HBO, & Hulu, Air conditioner, black out curtains My kitchen is cozy but stocked with refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, hot water kettle and basic pots, pans, and dishes. Nothing fancy but all my appliances are brand new and functional. Its not a large home but its clean and comfortable. Its very quiet! I don't have any neighbors above me so I rarely hear anyone else in the building.

Neighbourhood

Washington Heights, Manhattan! Very family-oriented, quiet neighborhood. I'm on a really unique dead end road that only has pedestrian access, making it super quiet. Right around the block there's amazing thai, indian, pizza, and italian restaurants. My door is one block from the A train express or a 10 minute walk to the 1 train. Very convenient! There's also a bus stop right around the block as well.

Getting around

I am one block away from the A train, which takes you express into lower Manhattan. Its about 15 minutes to Central Park, 25 minutes to Time Square, 35 minutes to Washington Square Park, 45 minutes to Downtown Brooklyn. Very convenient!
