Our lovely home is perfectly situation for all kinds of activities. We live in the beautiful town of Vicenza, famous for the architecture of Palladio, which inspired much of the architecture of Washington DC.
Our home is a 5-minute walk from the famous Villa Rotonda, and a 20-minute walk along a scenic bike path from the historical “centro” as well as the Vicenza train station connecting the the entire country.
Within an hour, you can easily visit Venice and Verona, as well as countless other lesser-known destinations. We will happily provide you some travel guide materials and recommendations we've compiled in our 7 years here!
The space
The house has two equipped bedrooms and two full bathrooms, a kitchen, dining room, and laundry. We care a lot about our house and have put lots of homey touches into it that we hope will make you feel at home.
We have a wonderful (but very healthy and therefore sometimes overgrown) backyard and garden full of fruit trees. A dining area is set up outside for your enjoyment.
Our home is pet friendly and we have two very loving, very friendly cats. Ideally, whoever staying in the house will enjoy their company and provide them food, water, and some attention.
Guest access
The ground floor has an entryway door from the side garden after the entryway gate.

Neighbourhood
Our neighborhood is very authentically Italian. We live across the street from a popular and very affordable pizza place, and down the street from the local butcher and cheese shop. Nearby are miles of nature walks and hiking trails up Monte Berico. Walk to the top and enjoy a cup of coffee or a spritz with views of the whole city and the Dolomites mountain range.
Getting to my home
Our home is close to a few major airports, including Venice Marco Polo, Venice Treviso, Verona, Bologna, and Milan Bergamo. Each one connects by bus to the national rail line, which connects to the Vicenza train station. From our train station, the house is a 5-minute drive, accessible by bus or taxi.

Getting around
