And don’t miss the ferry system; it’s a must‑do and one of the loveliest ways to explore the city. The accommodation has everything you would need and the views from the balcony and windows is unforgettable. Wow! We visited during Australia’s winter and the weather was absolutely delightful — warm, sunny, and perfect for sightseeing. Laura herself has been a dream to exchange with. She embodies everything home exchange kindness should be. Thoughtful, warm, and genuinely caring, she makes the entire experience effortless. Her generosity and communication have been outstanding from start to finish. If Laura asks for an exchange — or if you’re lucky enough to be offered the chance to stay in her Brisbane apartment — say yes. Laura's apartment is in a perfect spot with a gorgeous view of South Bank and across towards Brisbane's CBD. We took advantage of this view during New Year's Eve for their fireworks display. We loved the location, it's an easy walk to the South Bank Parklands, the Arts District, a bus stop that will take you anywhere you want to go and a train station. You literally could not ask for a better location for exploring Brisbane. Public transportation was super easy to use, all buses, trains and ferries were only 50 cents. There are plenty of places to eat nearby and we ate out quite a bit. This is not a primary home so if you are planning on cooking you may have to bring/buy your own favorite spices or sauces. Unfortunately we couldn't meet Laura in Brisbane but we look forward to hosting her in our Sapporo home.

Walking distance to all sightseeings - and I really mean all. We did not use the car at all. Many great restaurants in the area too. The city cat is a very special transportation that we used for watching the city from the river. Our daily boot trip. Such a joy! We had a fantastic stay at Laura’s place in Brisbane! Laura was a pleasure to communicate with, she is warm, friendly, and incredibly accommodating throughout our exchange. Her home was perfectly located right in the heart of the action. It is a spacious 2-bedroom directly across from the museum and art gallery, just a block from groceries, and an easy walk to all the main attractions. Our time in Brisbane was made even better thanks to Laura’s hospitality. We’ve made new friends through this experience and are already looking forward to welcoming her to Auckland sometime soon. Highly recommend!

John & I have just returned from a 9 day exchange in Brisbane. Laura’s apartment has Position Position Position. We arrived and parked our car in the secured car park. We had no need to use our car at all during our stay! The most amazing restaurants in ‘Fish Lane’ are 5 minutes around the corner. Goma and Qpac - Ferry services and Southbank all within 5-7 minutes away. The new Casino is a 10 minute walk! The balcony of the apartment and the rooftop have amazing views! We were there for Riverfire and had one of the best views in Brisbane! Thankyou Laura, we can’t wait to exchange again! 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
