There is public transport very close by, a bus to the city, river ferries are less than 10 mins walk, or walking to the city takes around 35 to 40 minutes. Mowbray Park is a few minutes walk, this has great city views and access to the water ferries in both directions. Easy to get to the Gold Coast for great beaches and amusement parks, or north to the Sunshine Coast. Brisbane has a humid sub tropical climate with year round warm to hot temperatures. The winter from June to August, is mild and rarely drops below 20 deg C during the day. Occasionally in summer the temperature can reach 35 deg C or more, however the average maximum is 30 deg - is a consistently beautiful temperature.

It's a quiet, residential neighbourhood, with parks and walks close by. 5 minutes walk to a supermarket, cafes and restaurants (even a micro brewery), Post Office and swimming pool complex.

If by Airport, probably first time we'd suggest a Taxi, but you can catch the airport train into the CBD then catch a bus from there.

Airport is about 15 minutes drive.
