Renovated in 2026, this charming coach house features a large living/dining area, galley kitchen and two bedrooms. Vaulted ceilings, gas fireplace and washer/dryer included. Walk to shops, restaurants, entertainment and trains to Chicago. Evanston is a vibrant college town with lots to do, but easy commute to Chicago.

The Space

The living/dining room are open with vaulted ceilings. Galley kitchen with dishwasher and breakfast bar. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other a twin. One bathroom with a shower.

Guest Access

This is a true coach house, so stairs to the living area. Then entrance is through the main house garden or the alley behind the coach house.

Note: this is over a garage, so you may hear the garage doors open.

Neighbourhood

This is a lovely neighborhood near Northwestern University in Downtown Evanston. Evanston is the first town north of Chicago. There are both commuter and subway trains within walking distance, as well as restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, theatre, jazz clubs. Easy train or uber ride to the city.

Getting to my home

O'Hare airport is about 30 minutes from the house and Midway about 50 minutes. There is a bus from O'Hare, but the best way from the airport is to take an Uber or taxi. If you are driving, there is street parking in front of the main house .

O'Hare, 30 minutes. Midway, 50 minutes

Getting Around

The "el" is 3 blocks away, the Metra is 5 blocks away.
