General overview
We are in a small community located just minutes to downtown New York City. Easily get into the city by car or by public transportation (bus) but come back to paradise in our cozy newly renovated (2020) home.
There are nearby eateries, close to a small downtown with restaurants, shops, coffee shops and live music. We are right on a state park where you can hike, take a picnic to the Hudson River, ride bikes and explore - all in the backyard!

We are a family of 4 who love to travel! Our daughter is grown up, so she travels now with us from time to time but our 14 year old son loves to travel with us. We have work and schooling that allows us to be remote so we love that! We live 18 miles outside of New York City in the USA in a bucolic setting (some neighbors have small horses, donkeys, chickens, sheep, and one even has a few alpaca!). We are right on the edge of a state park with hiking and biking trails (you can walk there). Our neighbors are friendly, the neighborhood is quiet and you can enjoy time heading into New York City and explore all the great things it has to offer as well as the lower Hudson Valley and come home to just relax in our peaceful garden and enjoy BBQs and quiet time!
