Our Villa is in the Olde Beau Golf Resort
We are on the 18th green and a very short walk to the clubhouse where you can enjoy a lovely dinner with beautiful sunset views.
Olde Beau golf is a beautiful but challenging golf course that can only be done with a golf cart
There is a pool and pickle ball courts
We are 4 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway where you can access miles and miles of hiking in both North Carolina and Virginia
We are also 10 minutes from Stone Mountain State Park that has beautiful hiking with Mountain View’s
We have many local wineries that are in the vicinity that are very enjoyable to visit
Getting to my home
We are 1 1/2 hours from the Charlotte NC airport and the Raleigh/Durham area airport.
We are 20 minutes of Highway Route 77 which is the major North/South route from all northern states to all the way to Florida.
It is an easy drive off of the highway with the last 5 miles with a winding climb up the mountain on a good road.

Getting around
You would need your own car transportation.
Roaring Gap sits between to small mountain towns that have grocery stores and restaurants.
There is a gas/grocery right near the entrance of OB that carries many needed items and is very convenient.
There are two boutique stores, open seasonally that are great gift/clothing boutique stores but also carry frozen breakfast/dinner items from area caterers.

My husband Bill and I are two people who are nearing retirement and can’t wait to do more traveling. We love to hike, golf, enjoy wine and of course travel. We have two grown boys and a lovely daughter in law. We also enjoy cuddling with our little dog Barley
