This exchange was a long time coming, thanks to Covid 😷, but we finally made it to Seville and the beautiful home of Marima and Jose — and it was absolutely worth the wait! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were incredibly lucky. Marima and Jose are the kindest, most generous couple and the perfect PLU hosts. We now consider them friends. Their home is perfectly located in the heart of Seville’s old town, and we were able to walk everywhere. We completely fell in love with the city. its wonderful people, incredible food, stunning architecture and sheer beauty. Seville is such a special place, and we really hope we can return soon. Staying at Nadine's home in Lagos was a wonderful experience. The condo is spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly welcoming. Having separate rooms for everyone was a huge plus for the boys! The location couldn't be better, just a short walk to the old town, right next to a great supermarket, and surrounded by incredible dining options (a few of which are truly world-class). Even with an unexpected week of rain, we squeezed in a brilliant beach day and took a scenic catamaran trip to Ponta da Piedade. Connecting with Nadine was one of the highlights of the trip; she is kind, funny, generous, and a sweet new friend. I really hope to visit her in Lyon in the future so we can meet face-to-face. Camilla’s home is warm and welcoming with a gorgeous back garden. We enjoyed a fantastic family Easter break in this beautiful part of Germany. Close to fab shops and easy access to nearby attractions. Camilla was integral in helping me plan our itinerary which ended up taking us to beautiful and traditional German villages along the Mosel, fairytale castles and some of the most amazing restaurants! We even took a cruise down the Rhine which was lovely. Finishing off our trip with an overnight trip to Frankfurt city which we loved and is only 1 hour away from Camilla & Peter’s place. All in all the destination blew me away which was quite a surprise! Loved it. Camilla is easy to work with and extremely organised. Thank you for introducing us to this enchanting part of Germany.

We have just spent the most wonderful family Christmas at Katies gorgeous home in the Peak District. Katie went out of her way to ensure we had a perfect stay, even to the extent of putting up Xmas decs for us and taking in packages so I didn't have to carry them from Italy. Our communication has been seamless from the outset and Katie stayed in touch during our stay even though she was on the other side of the world! Their place is spacious and homely, filled with so much family love. Location is perfect and so peaceful, we enjoyed just looking out on the the fields and cozying up by the log fire. Peak district villages are on your doorstep and our drive through the Derbyshire Dales as the sun was setting was insanely beautiful. Our exchange with Susan & Murray in Mission, at the heart of the Okanagan Valley was just perfect from the outset. Visiting the Okanagan has been a dream of mine for many many years now so I was delighted when my exchange was accepted. Susan & Murray's home is lovely, lot's of space and in a quiet and happy neighbourhood. I think Henderson was loved on 24/7 and would have happily left for the USA with them! Patsy is the sweetest and most lovely lady. Our exchange at her home was one of the happiest weeks of our vacation. Communication with Patsy has been kind and incredibly helpful since I reached out last year. Spending time on the Sunshine Coast was a dream for us and we made every moment count. The location of Patsy & Bills home in Halfmoon Bay was ideal, so close to Sechelt & Gibsons. Fresh flowers, freshly baked soda bread and a basket of yummy local treats were gratefully received when we arrived. Patsy was integral in the planning of our time in the area and gave us some fab tips. She kindly checked in with us everyday to ensure we were OK. Their home was so spacious we didn't know what to do with ourselves! We didn't even use most of the rooms. Having the beautiful garden full of colours and flowers set in stunning landscaping to relax in after dinner with a glass of wine was just the icing on the cake. Patsy was even so kind as to place allergy pillows on my sons bed and cut back the lavender bush he is allergic too. The beaches in the area are so serene, we didn't have the best weather but as BC needed the rains we couldn't feel bad. The scenery is to die for and there is a great selection of restaurants and shopping in the area. All in all we felt completely welcomed and totally at home in Patsy & Bills dream place. We loved every moment of her super kind hospitality. I do hope we can welcome them to Sorrento at some point in the future as my only regret is that we didn't get to meet. We've just spent the most magical 3 days on Salt Spring Island in Tara's charming cabin. Our communication has been really enjoyable from the very start, so much so that we will absolutely stay in touch and I consider that a lovely new friendship has been grown over the 8 months we have been planning this exchange. Tara has anticipated everything you may need in the cozy cabin and we truly appreciated all the personal and kind touches along the way, from the gorgeous local body & hair products to the chilled wine. Beds were super comfy and we thoroughly enjoyed being surrounded by nature. We managed to really relax after such a hectic work year so far and get our jet lag under control! Must mention how sweet the resident goats & alpacas are, and we spent a lot of time just watching them going about their day. Tara helped us navigate the island, gave excellent suggestions on where to eat and what to see, without her we wouldn't have experienced the island so well. Everything about this exchange was perfect, from the beginning, during and being sent off to the ferry port with cream cakes and traditional breakfast breads. Totally and utterly spoiled and we can't that you enough Tara, we loved every moment. Looking forward to reciprocating your gracious hospitality in Sorrento. Where to start! Oh my goodness what a brilliant exchange! Ciara's home takes your breath away when you open that beautiful door and see how big it is!! I almost fell over (and that's before a Guinness!). So much space. so beautifully decorated and full of family love. Myself and my boys loved every moment in Dublin and this fabulous home. We've been chatting for so long now, we've become friends, we've actually had a lot of laughs planning this non-sim exchange. Exchange dream come true! Jeff & Nancy were absolutely wonderful, kind and considerate hosts. Our communication was always seamless and lots of fun! I can honestly say I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful home, full of love and happiness (and freshly baked banana bread!). We had a ball there, spending our late evenings drinking fabulous Californian wine in the back yard while the kids played ping pong and corn hole. Our warm sunny days were filled with exploring Santa Barbara, shops, beaches, wines and amazing restaurants. We loved Santa Barbara so much that we made a family pact that when (not if!) we win the lottery we are buying a home there! We feel very exceptionally lucky that Fawn & Ferdi opened their beautiful home to us for 10 magical, fun-filled days this August. We loved every single moment. Icing on the cake is the beautiful swimming pool which we made the most of after our long days sightseeing. Super close to Disney and accessible to LA within 1 hour it was the perfect spot for us to begin our California adventure. We spent Christmas at Kates beautiful cottage in the Cotswolds. When I imagined the perfect location for our family Christmas together since covid and set out searching, I never thought I would find everything I wished for. Kate & Ant are the most hospitable and gracious hosts you would wish for. Nothing was too much trouble and I am forever grateful that Kate was kind enough to take in my Christmas packages to save me international delivery and extra baggage costs! So much to do from Kates place, we went to the village of Broadway (omg so gorgeous) and bought lots of locally made products to eat and drink. We visited the home of William Shakespeare in Stratford upon Avon, explored Cheltenham and had our Christmas celebrations at the Ivy. But mostly we hung around the local pub drinking English larger and eating good pub grub. Fabulous hikes in the area (but remember your wellies in the winter!). Kates kitchen is massive with a lovely double oven and big hob so we had no issues cooking a good old English Christmas lunch for the family. A wholesome, happy family Christmas with all my boys in the absolute perfect location all thanks to our lovely host. We can't thank the 'Bees' enough. Our door is always open for you in Sorrento. Vanessa, Gianluca, Yoram, Andreas & Noah xxx ps they also have a gym so we could run off some of the Christmas kilos we piled on with all that yummy English food!

We feel incredibly lucky to have stayed at this amazing villa! Devon is a wonderful host and couldn't have been kinder and hospitable towards us. Their home is just dreamy, we loved every single minute. So much space! The pool was our absolute haven after a long day at the theme parks, kicking back with the twinkling lights and a glass of wine. Every single detail has been thought through in this beautiful home. Just 20 mins from Disney Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs the location is perfect. We loved our exchange with Devon and are very much looking forward to hosting her & Grant in Sorrento next year. We've just returned from a perfect exchange at Susana's gorgeous apartment in Palma de Mallorca. We never would have been able to see the island from a locals perspective without Susana's incredible knowledge and help. We honestly can't thank you enough! It's easy to get to Palma centre either walking (20 mins max), bus or taxi and there are great places to eat and shop close by. Her home is very well equipped and just spot on for a family of 4. We sat out on her lovely terrace and discussed our days and constructed the following days plans - all with Susana's kind help and assistance. Mallorca is magical and if you get the very lucky opportunity to exchange with Susana, JUMP! Grazie and we can't wait to have you come to Sorrento.

Exchanges don't get much better than this! Kim's gorgeous home in beautiful Cortona is ideally located (2 mins walk to the main piazza) yet set back down a quaint & tranquil vicoletto. You can feel the love and passion that has gone in to renovating this stunning home and we loved the true Tuscan decor. Our communication with Kim was great and she really helped us out with restaurant recommendations and cool things to do. If you are fortunate enough to be offered an exchange with Kim then JUMP at the chance. We feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to explore Cortona and the province of Arezzo from her adorable home.
