General overview
We come here to enjoy very nice views be it either during skiing or hiking. The apartment is located in a small village in the middle of national park Hohe Tauern, but good connected to first bigger city, Zell am See (local bus). People are very nice and willing to help.
As apartment is part of resort, it also includes indoor swimming pool, sauna and fitness. The apartment has 2 sleeping rooms, where one is master bedroom and second room has 2 single beds. In the living room, there is a couch where an additional 2 people could sleep. Living room is connected with fully equipped kitchen and dining table. From the balcony you can see ski/hike lift to nearest hills.
If you are skiing and/or snowboarding, the closest ski lift is in walking distance (300m). Ski area offers family oriented ski slopes, 15km of blue slopes, 12,5km of red slopes and 5km of black ski slopes. Attractive ski pass prices you would find here, and we recommend buying them beforehand online (up to 35% discount). Apart from skiing/snowboarding, there are different activities like snowshoe walking and cross-country skiing. For kids there are 2 sledding tracks, one 5 min away with car, and it is 2km long. The second one you can reach with car in 15 min or by bus, and it is 4km long. There is in radius 1h with car a lot of other skiing slopes: Kaprun, Zell am See, Saalbach, Schladming, Flachau.
For other seasons, there is a lot of hiking and bicyle possibilities for already above-mentioned locations. In 45 min with car you can reach Grossglockner Alpine Road, which offers breathtaking views to the highest mountain of Austria, the Glossglockner and other mountains.
Further away there are scenic cities like Salzburg, Hallstadt and others.
***Important***
As the property is being managed by on-site operator, local cleaning (costs 100€ per stay) and some extra costs should be considered for his services there (welcoming guests, guest card, being available for guests, access to pool/spa, etc) Usually is 25% of whole stay on normal daily rate, but we are willing to take some of the costs as well, trying to be fair with exchanges and thankful for community and what it offers. Hopefully it is understandable.

Neighbourhood
Nearest bar is Panorama bar, which is usually only open during the weekends, otherwise in near distance is bar Maislau (200m), Sport shop Egger to buy equipment you need, or rent equipment ski/(e)bikes. A few restaurants are located in the village, local library, shop with groceries (Billa, Spar), etc.

Getting to my home
Nearest airport is located in Salzburg (about 1h away), public transport from there would be combination of train to Taxenbach and bus to Rauris (200m is nearest bus station)
