As we live next door and rent this home for short stay accommodation it doesn’t need to be a simultaneous swap. 3 bedrooms; x3 queen beds + 1 single. Open plan kitchen/lounge/dinning. 2 bathrooms, 3 showers. Quiet; double glazed windows, and comfortable; central heating/cooling. Sunny front veranda & rear private garden both with comfy seating. Off-street parking; four vehicles. We've loved hosting guests and met some lovely people, here's what one group had to say about the space and their stay.... "Red House with Blue Door - "It was hard to decide where to stay in Christchurch until we saw the photo of Simone and Joe's property...the red house with the blue door! Then we realized it was an historic building, always a plus for us. It looked close to downtown and turned out to be within short walking distance. When we arrived, Joe showed us into a beautiful, comfortable, perfect for us space that immediately felt like home. But the best was yet to come when we were able to talk with Simone, who (energetically) gave us invaluable information about Christchurch, and with both Joe and Simone to discuss life, values, commitments, principles, and goals for people in New Zealand, the US, everywhere. We were so impressed with their hospitality, energy and dedication to doing what will make Christchurch and the world a better place.
